Mark W. Rosenberg is a Professor of Geography in the Department of Geography and Planning, cross-appointed as a Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences and the Canada Research Chair in Development Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is also an adjunct professor in the United Nations University Institute for Water, Health and the Environment. Professor Rosenberg’s research covers a wide range of topics including health and the environment, access to health care services, and vulnerable populations. In Canada, Professor Rosenberg is currently working on various projects related to older people’s access to various health and community services. In Beijing, Professor Rosenberg is collaborating on a series of project with colleagues at the Chinese Academy of Sciences – Institute for Geographic Science and Natural Resources Research and Beijing Normal University on health and the environment and older people’s access to community and residential care services.
